Things you should believe....amazing stuff!

Things you should believe
A Birth Certificate shows we were born,
A Death Certificate shows we died,
Pictures show we lived!
Have a seat...Relax. ..And read this slowly.

I Believe...
Just because two people argue, Doesn't mean they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, Doesn't mean they do love each other.
I Believe...
We don't have to change friends if we understand friends change.
I Believe....
No matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
I Believe...
True friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.
I Believe...
You can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.
I Believe...
it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.
I Believe...
You should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
I Believe...
You can keep going long after you think you can't.
I Believe...
We are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
I Believe...
Either you control your attitude or it controls you.
I Believe...
Heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of consequences.
I Believe...
Money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I Believe...
My best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.
I Believe...
Sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down will be the ones to help you get back up.
I Believe...
Sometimes when I'm angry, I have the right to be angry,
but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.
I Believe...
Maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've e learned from them, and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.
I Believe...
It isn't always enough to be forgiven by others;
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself..
I Believe...
No matter how bad your heart is broken, the world doesn't stop for your grief.
I Believe...
Our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are,
but we are responsible for who we become.
I Believe...
You shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.
I Believe...
Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different..
I Believe...
Your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.
I Believe...
Even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you -
you will find the strength to help.
I Believe...
Credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.
I Believe...
The people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.

This day in the history books..........

This day is going to be an amazing day in the history books.....And, this is a happy occasion for not only my generation, however, for every generation in the world. We are lucky to be alive today to witness this amazing moment in history. I am talking of course, of President-elect Obama being sworn into office today.
We are all bright eyed looking toward the future, and are more willing to help each other, as Americans out. I must say that I am very Proud to be an American!
It always seems when something big happens, people will ask you....'Where were you when ______'. In this case, it is a happy event! Instead of just a few years ago, when the Towers fell in NYC.......Where were you then??? we all remember what we were doing when we heard the news....It will forever be entrained in my mind.
Our children will be asking us those questions, just like we asked our parents, 'Where were you when JFK was shot?', Where were you when MLK was shot'.
In this one instance, 'Where were you when President Obama won the election, and took office?' is the best moment to be able to tell your children where you were. I am very thankful that I will be able to tell my children about this time in history, what the mood felt like, and how I felt myself.
Even if you didn't vote for Obama, I am certain, you will be happy to look back one day, and tell your children, this is what happened in history, this is where I was, and this is how I felt.
And, thanks to one mans courage, and hard work, he has made everyone remember, that we can be whatever we want to be, if we set our minds to it! Any child can be President someday.... Maybe one of mine will, or maybe someone who is dear to me.....we will see.
In conclusion, I just want to say, that I am very thankful for everything that our country stands for, and for everything that I have been taught to believe, and that I have taught myself to believe. I hope and pray that all of you feel as lucky as I do to be an American.
Have a good day, and God bless.

Holy crap! thats a long time! They have been more sisters than my own, and have been my family when I didn'g have much to do with mine. I am very thankful for them.

Well, Another winter day! It's cold, and foggy! I guess its not as cold here as it is around the country, but ITS STILL FREAKING COLD! So, I've been inside for the past several days, not doing a whole lot, and have been very bored.......I guess this is what happens when your hubby is working, and you are not. So, my house is very clean!

All of the puppies are doing good. They have been spending a lot of time sleeping. I think Tuck(The one pictured) loves his naps! His tummy is a lot more tender than the other dogs, so he gets sick if he doesn't eat the right thing....huh.....hes kinda like me....lol....

Anyways, I'm going to try to post more, with new pics of what is going on!

First 11 days of 2009

This year has been good so far. We got a new niece, and we have been able to spend some quality time together.

Trevor has a possibility of working on New Mexico, and we are deciding on that now. He would go down with Travis for about 2months, and work, and I of course would be staying home. We will see what happens with this. We are praying, and discussing this major decision now.
Trevor is excited, because he is a fan of a show on the Travel Channel called 'Man vs. Food', and they did a steak challenge in Albuquerque a few episodes ago, and if they go down to work, then they will no doubt be stopping there to try this massive 72 ounce steak! I will keep you informed!

Thats about it thats going on. We love you all, and will let you know of any upcoming events/prospects!

Addison Paige Gregory

Addison was born this morning at 5:10 am! She is Travis and Sunshine's 4th baby! (Trevor's brother and his wife.) She was welcomed by older brothers Pacen, and Braxton, and big sister Kammi! She weighed in at 8lbs 4oz. She was 1 week over due!

I got the call at midnight saying they needed me to come sit with the kids, so I jumped out of bed, put on my warm clothes, and was out the door! Pacen went to the hospital with Andrea at 3am to be there for the birth! He didn't stop talking the whole time! I sat with Kammi who woke up at around 2am, and was awake till 4, she did a lot better with the situation than we expected!

So, Congrats to the Gregory's for their beautiful baby girl! I love being an Auntie!!!!

Goals for 2009

I have been thinking this past weekend about the year to come, and what I would like to see myself change in my life. The following is a list of things to do/get done this year.

1. Become more in tune with my spiritual self. I need to go to church more, read my scriptures, and bring the spirit into our home more often! This is a goal I am certain I will be able to accomplish.

2. To go along with goal #1 I would like to see Trevor and I sealed in the Temple by the end of this year. We have been on and off track to get this goal for a while now, so I am full steam ahead!

3. To see a specialist about our fertility problems. We have been trying to have a baby for a little over 2 years, and I have been putting off seeing a specialist due to being afraid of any results! As most of you know, I had 2 miscarriages in 2004, and 2005 (before my wonderful husband came into the picture). The doctors I seen for those didn't have reasons for the miscarriages, so I am very afraid of what we might be told. So, I pray for strength.

4. I hope to get over the past things that I have done. After being baptized, I realize that I was forgiven by Heavenly Father for my past sins, and I have been having a hard time letting them go myself. I continue to bring up past memories, and getting upset at myself for them. Trevor says I need to work hard on forgiving myself, because I have repented, and have been forgiven. So, I need to forgive myself for my past.

These are my goals.....I don't want to say they are resolutions, because that is a word I don't think works for a lot of people.

I will let you know how I am progressing with my goals!
