FurrrrrrrrrrrrBabies!!!!!!

Here are some pictures of our babies! I think they are so funny, because they all love this pillow that Wolf is sleeping on, and usually take turns sleeping on it.

And both Tuck and Wolf are more comfortable if they are sleeping on their backs. It is hilarious. All they are missing, are blankies!

And this believe it or not, is ernie, tucked in between piles of pillows and blankets on the couch. He loves to sleep there, expecially if Trevor or I are already laying down on the couch, he tries his hardest to cuddle with us!

And, Eb loves to lay on the chairs. Him is so cute!

I just love pictures of them snuggling with Trevor. Wonder what will happen in a few months when they are full grown? are they going to get in his lap then too? Probably!

Last, but certainly not least, Lou-dog. cuddling with Trevor's pillow!

The art of Forgetfulness!

Trevor got paid yesterday, as he usually gets paid every Wednesday. And, every Wednesday, when he gets home, we go cash his check, and deposit it into our bank account. So, I had decided that we would have Subway for dinner, so when Trevor got home, he went to use the restroom, and I got ready to leave, when we had put the dogs in their kennels, and Ernie in the Bathroom, Trevor went to get his check, out of his lunch pail, (as he does each week mind you,) And, it wasn't there! I just looked at him, and asked if maybe he had put it in his pocket instead, or left it in his dad's car? Trevor was adamant that he had put it in his pail.

I told him not to worry about it, and to call his dad to see if it was in his car. Trevor called his dad, and he checked the car. It wasn't there..... So, I asked Trevor if he had at least an idea of where it was. he said it had to be in the break trailer at the job site.........in REXBURG! I told my wonderful husband not to worry that he could just find it tomorrow, and we would be fine.

He was grateful that I was so understanding. But, what could I say, or do? I leave things at home, or at friends/family's homes all the time.

So, I made frozen pizza for dinner for him, and I had left overs from earlier in the week........not the same as the wonderful Sub that I had planned....but that's okay.

This morning at 4:30 am, Trevor laughed from the kitchen, and asked me to guess what he had just found! His check was in the lid of the lunch pail, (which is a small cooler, with a flip top!) "Oh Dear!" Isn't that amazing! I asked him if that made him feel better, or if he felt more like an idiot? He said he felt like the dumbest person in the world! I told him it was all good, and I would just deposit it today.

At least we knew where it was! And, at least we didn't have to wait forever to get the check!

Forgiveness

Yesterday, I was watching Oprah. It was about Kent Whittaker's book "Murdered by Family", telling the story of the death of his wife and young son, who were killed by their son and brother Bart. When the murder happened, they didn't know who had done it, however, Kent, who was also injured decided 4 hours after this horrible tragedy that he would forgive the killers. Little did he know it was his own son.

What an amazing story. If this man could forgive his son for murdering his wife, and other son, than why do I have problems forgiving my father for the horrible things he did to my family?

I hope that I can forgive my father, I am working on that now. I encourage everyone to look at this book, and to remember the following quotes when you have problems with forgiveness.

“It is not our ability to think that separates us from the lower animals. It is our capacity to repent and to forgive that makes us different”—Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
"To forgive someone is to admit our limitations. We’ve been given only one piece of life’s jigsaw puzzle. Only God has the cover of the box."—Max Lucado, Everyday Blessings
