Libra (9/23-10/22)
Just because someone from your past is suddenly back on the scene doesn't mean that you are going to have the exact same kind of relationship with them that you once had. People change -- for better and for worse, so do yourself a favor and treat this person almost like a stranger. Give them the benefit of the doubt and make no assumptions about what they will do or say next. Keep your mind open, and you will be rewarded with a pleasant surprise.
i read this just a few minutes ago, and though "holly crap do they know me! :)" So, as most of you know, my sister and i are starting over in our relationship........rough road in the past don't ask......so anyways, we didn't talk for several years actually, and didn't see each other for almost 4 year, so that gives you the picture.
Over that last few months we have been coming closer, and she is actually the reason I started this blog, to keep in touch with her. love you B! So, anyways, getting off track here.
As I was saying. over the past few months I have been reading her blog, and realizing we have two very different points of view on so many things, and yes, I'm not going to lie, sometimes her blog offends me a little, but she is a Beautiful Free Mind, and I wouldn't change her for the world, I actually like the fact we are so different in our thoughts, it makes conversation great between us.
We are only 11 months apart, but so different, why though? We had the same parents, went the the same schools, crap we even had the same friends for several years, and now we even share most of those same friends! It just makes you wonder how two people from the same background can become such different individuals......
That's it people, we are individuals. we have that right, to be Free in what we think, want, and do in our lives, that is what is so important in our own little worlds, and our beautiful US of A, we can be who we want, and I encourage that. Don't let someone put you down, or make you upset about something, so what someone believes you are wrong in your choices, as long as you believe, dare I say know your right in them, then I say go for it full steam ahead!
I am proud to be an American, and I am proud that I can vote, and make my own decision on who I want to run our country, is it the same as you? maybe, maybe not, but that is the beauty of this country, we have the choice, and for this I am very thankful.
Becka, (that's my sister) I love you and respect you so very much! I am proud you are who you are, and am thankful you are my sister, even if sometimes I don't understand your train of thought.....that's okay, Usually people can't follow mine......anyways, I just want you to know that even though you are a Republican, and I am a Democrat, doesn't mean we have to be mortal enemies! Lets not fight to the death, or outcast one another, that's not what our founding fathers wanted, so lets not do that okay?
So, thanks for listening to my odd little rant/rave! I hope it came across the way I wanted it too!
